Chopping a Honda GL1000 Goldwing #19

Saturday 12/03/2011

Spent most of the day welding and grinding on the neck.

Nothing in pictures because I still have a lot to do,
I hope to finish the neck and tank mount today.

    not a hard tail fan but it looks good . i have always like naked ( no fairing or the junk in the trunk ) gold wings .i am a air cooled vw fan ,and its a very similar motor design .

    Given my druthers I am not a fan of hard tails either But I am 5' 2" tall and it's the only way I will ever ride a Goldwing.

    Sitting on a normal wing my feet miss the ground by over 2" they are so wide and tall, the bikes not my feet.

    I also have had VW dune buggies, and now have a 1934 Frazer Nash kit which I am trying to reassemble.
